Alert: Thune on FOX News Sunday

South Dakota’s own John Thune will be on FOX News Sunday (airing 7 am and 4 pm out here in West River), representing John McCain’s presidential campaign.

And, the “veepstakes” continue. With the conventions looming, just how close are the candidates to picking their running mates?
Gaaah. Karl Rove. Sen. Thune, don’t look directly into his eyes. (Wait, I thought Rove was officially part of FOX’s team now. Why is he listed as a “guest”?)

What harm could come from looking into Rove’s eyes after Thune already sold his soul?
Thune wants that McCain VP nomination SO bad he can taste it. He obsesses about it. He tosses and turns at night thinking about it. He’s gonna be out begging every news program in the country to let him in front of the camera to trash talk Obama every chance he can get. Thune’s got all his big preachers calling McCain and talking him up as the VP choice of the Christian right. He REALLY wants to prove he’s better than Daschle ever was.
